Accounting Manager (Fairbanks)
Summary
The Accounting Manager serves as a key member of the finance leadership team and is responsible for overseeing the company’s accounting operations, financial reporting, and internal controls. This is a hands-on accounting role for someone who enjoys working closely with financial details while helping guide the company’s financial direction.
Working closely with the CFAO, the Accounting Manager supports strategic decision-making by ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial information.
Essential Job Functions
The Accounting Manager assists the CFAO with a variety of finance and accounting responsibilities, including:
• Oversee daily accounting operations
• Provide general ledger oversight
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Support payroll administration
• Prepare GAAP-compliant financial statements
• Assist with forecasting and variance analysis
• Prepare financial presentations for ownership and the board
• Support departmental operations and companywide projects
• Improve financial processes and support strategic initiatives
• Promote Sourdough’s Vision, Mission, and Culture statements
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications
• Previous accounting experience required
• Four years of general ledger accounting experience required
• Knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
• Demonstrated success improving financial processes and supporting strategic initiatives
• Strong communication, integrity, and problem-solving skills
• High school diploma or GED required
• Some college experience preferred
Supervisory Responsibilities
This position is responsible for observing, directing, and coaching departmental employees and helping resolve departmental issues. The Accounting Manager will conduct training and assist with implementing and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.
Position Details
• Full-time position
• Monday through Friday
• 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with a one-hour lunch break
• In-person position
• No travel expected
• Pay: $100,000–$145,000 per year

Summary
Sourdough Express is seeking experienced and safety-focused CDL Drivers to join our team. Openings are available for Class A Local/Line Drivers and Class B Local Drivers. Essential Job Functions
The CDL Driver is responsible for operating company vehicles to transport goods safely and efficiently while complying with all DOT regulations and company policies.
Typical Duties
• Safely operate Class A or Class B commercial vehicles
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Transport freight locally and/or on linehaul routes as assigned
• Maintain accurate logs and delivery records
• Load and unload freight as required
• Communicate with dispatch regarding routes and delivery schedules

Summary
